Company History
M&M Service, Inc. opened its doors to gas station service repair over fifteen years ago on May 1, 1989. M&M’s President and Owner, Martin Meyer had over 19 years of experience in the service repair industry prior to M&M’s opening. In 1990, Marty’s son Mickey joined M&M as a service technician and is now Vice President and presently heads sales and service company wide. We currently employ approximately 58 full time positions.
Over the years, M&M Service has grown to include 24 qualified service technicians at its main office in Northern Kentucky as well as locations in South Point, Ohio, Lexington, Kentucky, and Indianapolis, Indiana. We cover service areas including Central Kentucky such as Lexington and Louisville, as well as Northern, Eastern, and Western Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana utilizing a fleet of 30 service vehicles.
In October 2001 M&M Service acquired Mid-Valley Supply, a division of Marathon Ashland Petroleum. In addition to service, the acquisition enabled us to be a highly competitive distributor of petroleum products carrying all product lines available in our industry such as OPW, Gilbarco and Dresser Wayne throughout the Eastern United States and sometimes beyond. We currently employ 7 full time outside sales associates and 3 full time inside sales associates.
M&M’s sales volume has continually grown through the years. Some of our top customers include Speedway Super America, Marathon Oil, Pilot Oil, and Swifty Oil, just to name a few. Although the majority of our business is in the petroleum market, we also service and sell to schools, municipalities and various other companies as we perform lighting repairs on canopies, signs, IDs, facia, and buildings. We also do limited work in the construction area such as concrete and asphalt. M&M also performs tank removal and provides clean-up for any leakage, fuel spills or water in tanks.
